Hi everyone, I haven't been very productive this year. I've started at least 2 drawings and not finished them but at long last I've completed one! It's A4 and is CP's (surprise!) on drafting film. I'm not sure about the skin tones but at least it's finished. Some one may recognise this picture, it is called Alex and I seem to recall saving it from a challenge some time ago. Life, don't talk to me about life: Sorry about the quality of the photo; it's a little lighter in real life.

This is excellent Andrea... and I know this is Paulette's son.. probably from a challenge on Drawspace quite some time ago. I hope this is the start of better things for you Andrea.

Can you hear the echo from me also? This is just wonderful! I think the skin tones look great! You've just got to start producing more as you do the cp on film sooooo well!
Has Paulette seen this yet?

Thanks guys for your lovely comments. This was a good practice for doing a CP portrait of my friends kids in the UK as a gift. Not sure whether to do it on drafting film or paper though.

OMG, Andrea - this is fabulous! This skin tones look fine to me. Would you like me to send a chart of prismacolor skin tones to you? I too recognize this as Paulette's son from DS. You have done a wonderful job on this and it is soooo detailed. I'm lovin it.

A little birdie told me I better get over here and check out Andrea's work. Wow Andrea, fantastic job! You really caught the feeling of that pose. I love the title. Every time he sees that picture, he is makes sure to remind me that he was just tired.

This one is really, really good. Everything from the composition to the detail is nicely done. You could definately be a professional illustrator/painter.
