Great job Tim. I really like the colours you put in the fur. A couple of things (hope you don't mind) I would have put more shadow under him to anchor him on the branch and I would put more colours into the background; greens, blues and reds to make it less flat. He is real cute though, do you think he bites? LOL!

It's that whole layering thing I haven't figured out yet ...lol not to mention I only have 24 pencils ...but any CC is appreciated because these pencils are so alien to me.

You don't seem so alien to cp to me! Andrea had some good tips but for a cp novice, you did a really nice job for real!

Really great, Tim! You make jokes telling us it is your first CP-work, don't you? Fur is - for me - the hardest to do - no matter if animal or human "fur". ;D So you really did a good job.

Thank you ladies LOL and yes I am convinced that I trashed the other board I still have that graphite/ pencil kind of attitude ( mind you the background was very gray) so it will take me a while to get the hang of it and maybe if I spent more than 2 1/2 hours . I am a very patient person with so many other things but I find myself rushing to finish.
