Nair, your butterfly is so nice. It is really lovely.
My pastel is soft and hard pastels.

Thanks for the reply Laura. Rose it's the same butterflie..... i was happy with it that i put it in my gallery. And you did well Nair it's lovely. Now here is my Thomas.... actually he is your Thomas ... but here is what I tried to do with your Thomas. It's not a terribly good likeness but this was a sort of experiment. I tried dry brushing rather than glazes this time... trying to be a little more impressionistic. I think I did catch his lovely joyous spirit though. Finally I'm painting again in 2008! Phew... I thought I never would! OH, BTW - these are acrylics on paper.

Rose, I think you did a great job with Nair's son - I could see the likeness immediately.
Nair & Lasi, I commented in your respective galleries (?) but I'll say again that both are just lovely!

lol Joanie. Yes, you are right, totally without pencils isn't possible. A very very little bit of time I had stolen the last days and today a little more to finish this one.
And thank you both Joanie and Nair for the compliments.
I forgot to tell that I've done it with my CPs and black ink. And the size is about 140 x200 mm.

Great job Martina, it's very dramatic, the markings on the wings are excellent and I love those clouds.
