Some of my favourite works so far: Trumpet. 2H, HB and 2B graphites on Bristol Smooth. 10x7 1/2 Ingrid BergmanMy first celebrity portrait... I had to start with Bergman since she is my all time favourite movie star. The Girl with the Pearl Earring. This was difficult, especially the mouth. I know I did not do Vermeer justice by any means but this is a painting I am quite in love with having seen the original (which incidentally is very small) in the Hague some three years ago. Here's my version of the Girl with the Pearl Earring - Prismacolor pencils on Stonehenge paper 9 x 12. TomatoesSoft pastels on medium grain (ingres) paper. 11X8 1/2 - March 2007. BobThis the first time I attempted a dog in pastels.... actually I don't recall ever having drawn a dog before, in any medium. This was fun! Soft pastel sticks and pencils on blue ingress paper, finished size 11x8

My absolute favorite is of your Ingrid Bergman. That one is photo-realistic, it's so real! But where is your migrant farm women and children one? That one is another one that is really so incredible!
I love all your work!!!
Edited to say: Oh I found the Migrant lady drawing. It's in one of the other threads. Thanks for putting it up!

These are wonderful drawings...I can't decide which one is my favorite. That portrait of Ingrid Bergman is awesome. The lighting and colors of the girl are wonderful, but then I am thinking the trumpet, because of the excellent shading you have done there. It is truly amazing to see your body of work and see the tremendeous growth you have gone through. Bravo to you! You deffinitely have set the bar high.
