Lovely, lovely pictures Laura! Thank you so much for sharing these. They really are brilliant and very inspiring. That wet sand is calling to me already and the eagle is quite something! Every one of the pics has a particular interest. Thanks again.

Thanks Andrea It is ink , a fine tip sharpie pen and water colour pencils and 4H somewhere in there !

I painted this over a failed painting. I used a lot of medium in the failed painting, and none in this one on top. Since I didn't follow the fat over lean rule, this painting might start cracking soon... 12x16 oil.

This is a really lovely interpretation Grampy - wonderful sense of depth!
I haven't a clue about oils so I really don't know how the behave but I hope this painting lasts longer than you think it will... it's gorgeous.
