I was going to make my own light box ...I have all the materials lying around in my shop so building one was going to be easy .However I decided that I needed a trip to the art store for some retail therapy and lo and behold I found a nice light box that had been discounted ( woohoo !) So I did this very quickly while watching a movie so about 40 minutes 4H and ink ...I love ink and architectural elements

Isn't a lightbox the best thing since sliced bread? I like to do a lot of my own sketches but I don't like to do them on the "good" paper since I erase a lot. The light box is just invaluable for transferring the sketch.
Like you, I was going to build one but found a small one on sale. I'm just so glad you got one.
Your architectural element (I can't remember what it's called!) looks great!
Now, let's see more of your art!

Wow how did I miss this! It's great Tim - you must be brave with the pen and ink! As for the lightbox, yes it can be a great help and I did have one built for me but it went from being a lightbox to be drawing table, easel, hold all... it's really great and I love it.
Jan - I believe this is a Doric column.

Great character Tim. Leaving out the half a bag of potato chips, the two handful of jellybeans and the indigestion I think your ingredients worked just fine!

What a great recipe for producing great work! I'll probably try and omit the indigestion though when I try it! LOL!
