Lovely pastel portrait! So tell me Emad, do you use pencils of the detailed features like the eyes. That always seems an unsurmountable problem to me - getting in precise tiny detail with those clumsy sticks.

Thanks Rose.. There are pastel pencils which is a lil harder than the sticks. I use the sticks only for shading larg areas the rest was done using pastel pencils. they are much easer to work with specially for detailed drawing.. Graphite would not work hear as it reflects light and it will look odd. May be charcal would, but i have not tried it.

I agree, it's fantastic, very realistic and detailed and great colours. Which pastel brand do you use?

How beautiful, Emad!!! Not only that this is a perfect work with wonderful colors, the most that touches me is the sense.
Fear in the eyes but also protection by the hand! wonderful!
