Quote 'this is awfully wonderbeautifulnice!!! ' Thanks Martina, I wouldn't go that far! LOL! But I agree it was very difficult with CP's, I wish I'd tried it in pastels. Anyway, its A4 in size, approx 10 x 8 inches.

It's really good Andrea ...I can see how involved it is and I still cannot believe you did it in CP's that would drive me to drink!!!!

You did a very nice job Andrea! I too found the mountains on the left rather tricky - but to compensate your back mountains on the right are extraordinary! Really wonderfully done. Brava! You are a brave soul attempting this with CPs! And Tim - you already drink!!

Oh, I seem to be having a problem with my Imageshack account! I've opened a Photobucket account so lets see if this works.....

Oh, thats huge! That's 640 x 480, should I use the 320x240 size instead? I don't want to use up everyones bandwidth!

Andrea what I do in Photobucket is upload my images in 800x600 but on the forum I only post a thumbnail link. To do this check the image you want to upload, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit Generate HTML and IMG code. This takes you to another page of codes and from there you choose the thumbnail code which I believe is the third in the list.
That way, people on dial-up can still see your image which is generally quite good even in thumbnail and seeing the bigger image is optional.

OMG Andrea................its exquisite! Unbelievable that you did this in CP's. ;D thank you so much for re-posting it - I would have hated to miss seeing this one. I think you'll like photobucket much better. It's so much faster than image shack especially with the thumbnail option which is a life saver for us poor lowly dial up folks. ;D ;D ;D

Okay, kiddo's here's my koala. Approximately 10 hours of drawing hairs!!!!! Remind me again sometime why I don't like to draw animals with fur before I go charging in. I' m pleased with it though. The original looks much better - I had to darken it some on photoshop and it doesn't look the same as in real life. In RL it is much smoother looking and the transition between the dark and light fur is much nicer. But that's the way it is with scanners and I'm not that proficient with photoshop to make it look much better.

Andrea, your mountain drawing is wonderful.
But I noticed something really different. Just where the top of the dark mountain touches the snowy background mountains, there appears to be a large beautiful woman's eye. Was that intentional? It gives the painting such a mystical feel.
(or I'm a little crazy... )

What have you been smoking Birdie? LOL! It certainly wasn't intentional but I'm glad it has added something mystery. Love the snowdrops/twinkling stars on your avatar, very seasonal!
How are you doing? We haven't heard from you for a while and were getting concerned. Big hugs, Andrea

How are you doing? We haven't heard from you for a while and were getting concerned. Big hugs, Andrea What have I been smoking? LOL.. nothing that good! The avatar was done using something imageshack is offering right now. Little special effects. I did want to be wintery.. and christmassy.. I'm fine really. I have my ups and downs in my health though. I just can't get into an artsy frame of mind, and though I love looking at all the things people do here, I feel guilty that I can't add to it. I wish I could be creative right now, but for me there are so many variables that interfere with it. Some of my medication interferes with my ability to have the full range of emotions, and I am an emotional artist. I tried going off the medication, but the results were too hard on me. Maybe things will change again one of these days, and I'll be able to draw. Any pressure to draw has the opposite result.

What have you been smoking Birdie? Do tell - I'd love some of it too! ;D Trust you Birdie to see something like that! You do have a wonderful "eye" and please just hang in there.. it will all come back. Just relax about it. Joanie - Your Koala is exquisite! Very well done. It's so good to see you getting back into your art. Turn off the world girlie.. we need to see more or this.

We've missed our little Birdie.....................if you can't create art right now can you write some more poetry? or post some of your poetry from the past? I personally like reading it but if you can't do that either, then just pop in and say "hello" when you can.
